Why do US style pool cue balls have all those spots on them?
Whats the go with them not like the blank UK cue ball or snooker ball?
You have probably been watching the pool on TV and the ball being used has 6 red dots on it……most others have only 1…..the reason is for you to better judge the spin or “english” on the ball when stroking…..it also makes it easier for me as a spectator to watch some really good players and observe the stroke of theirs to learn as to how they get the ball around…..the other cue balls don’t give you a clue at times…..hope this helps!!
