What is the best way to level a three piece slate pool table?
I have a 8 ft pool table with a three piece slate, but unfortunately between the middle slate and the end slate there is a slight “bump” where the edges aren’t even. What would be the best way to fix this without hiring my local billiards shop to come out and take it apart?
I use water putty. Do the joints and then use a putty knife. Sand after until you can run your hand across and not notice the junction. And you can also adjust the slate screws into the frame if its extremely uneven. Just dont tighten too much because you can crack the slate.
