Game room?

Hi. I guess I was shoved into my unfinished basement for my gaming needs. So I guess I’ll be playing my video games down there for now on.
My problem: We have too much junk in the basement and it is very crowded. It’s frustrating because my mom works a full time job and has to go to school too. She hates it when I touch her stuff and all I’m doing is trying to clean up a little bit. And I also want to kind of make this space my own. I have to share a room with two brothers. Very annoying.
So what do you think I should do? Thanks in advance.

I am a big fan of containerizing junk. It always looks better, more organized and makes it easier to find things when you put like things in the containers. I would be very thankful if my child containerized and organized my junk even if they chose containers that they liked or reflected their personality more than mine.
